Belen Gomez was born in Rosario, Argentina on June 14, 1990 and then raised from
the age of 5 in Florida. Always wanting to draw attention and entertain, Belen would love to watch movies and often replay
scenes from her favorites. She would set up a show for anyone who was willing to watch, and recite the script with ease.
At the age of 12 she started to pursue modeling with her older sister, Luciana. The things that are essential
to know, she has been fortunate enough to learn from her mother whom used to operate a modeling school in Argentina.
Within a couple of months of contacting photographers, Belen and her sister did a photo shoot with Don Michael Photography.
Soon after that Belen was discovered by the modeling agency, Xan Models. She was represented by them for a year or so
and then she left to look for an agency based in Florida.
Belen then continued to do small shoots for Ludmila Pictures but leaving her modeling career as a part time
job to focus on school. Then at the age of 13, her and her older sister joined the company, Florida Grand Opera, in the play
"Romeo et Juliette". They traveled to different cities and theatres to perform, for a period of two months. She then knew
that acting was her true passion, though she continues to do both.
Belen Gomez, is now 17 years old (11th grade), and has done a promotional shoot for SpringArt clothing,
several plays such as : "Pureza", "Intelligencia", "The Cure of the Plague", toured in another Florida Grand Opera production
called "Madama Butterfly", and the musical "Cabaret". In 2007, she portrayed one of the lead roles, Jennie Mae, in "The Diviners".
With not so much time in the business she already has an impressive
amount of fans determined to support this up-and-coming young model and actress. Anyone interested in joining this growing
group can do so at her myspace: http://myspace.com/belengz .
Belen is definitely someone
to look out for in the entertainment world and with all the talent and personality she has to offer, it is clear that there
is far more to Belen than what you would read on paper or see in a photo.
